2 useful new features of WeChat Work

Tencent announced the launch of WeChat Work 3.0 version with 2 major new features in late Dec 2019.


Tencent announced the launch of the WeChat Work 3.0 version in late Dec 2019 at the annual WeChat Work press conference. Among the updates, 2 major new features got users' attention.

  1. Customer Moments WeChat Work 3.0 adds the feature of Customer Moments. Staff can post content on Customer Moments on the WeChat Work account now to inform customers on product news or event information. The company can check the content of their staff’s Customer Moments and interaction with customers. The company can also produce official content and distribute it to all staff to post by one click.

  1. Chat Group up to 100 members WeChat Work 3.0 increases the maximum member number of each chat group to 100. Staff can create a bigger community with customers using group chat. A welcome message can also be configured to send to a new member who joins the group chat. The company can view the group chat data statistics to monitor staff’s performance on WeChat Work. It can also reallocate the customer base of the departed employee to existing staff, thus to avoid losing customers.
